Wild Woman Rising A guided reading of Women Who Run With the Wolves
“Wildlife and the Wild Woman are both endangered species.” — Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Meet the Wild Woman who lives inside you
This is not a book club. It’s a tender, myth-rooted space to remember the Wild Woman within you, through story, symbol, prayer, and the slow work of integration.
Together we’ll follow Dr. Estés’ medicine: listening, journalling, and weaving personal myth back into daily life.
What this journey is

Why "Women Who Run With the Wolves"? Because stories speak where ordinary language cannot. The old tales carry keys to our creativity, boundaries, longing, rage, tenderness, and return. Reading them together is soul-nourishing, mythic, prayerful, and whole-making.
What you’ll receive (when it opens)
A clear path through the book (readings, themes, and pace that honours life as it is)
Audio notes or written guides to anchor each section
Journalling prompts & simple rituals for integration
Optional community touchpoints for shared reflection
Are you ready to become a Wild Woman?
Who this is for Women feeling the tug to come home to themselves, mothers, makers, healers, tender-hearted rebels, anyone ready to reclaim creativity, boundaries, and belonging to the self.
Hi, I'm Christine (Chris)
Mother of four, traditional midwifery–trained birth worker and certified birth doula based on the KZN coast of South Africa. I support physiological, sovereign birth and mothering with a calm, trauma-aware, mother-led approach.
My work weaves traditional midwifery wisdom, Aware Parenting mentoring, and gentle body practices from yoga and breathwork. I offer in-person birth support locally and mentoring worldwide (including freebirth and postpartum guidance). Always non-medical. Always respectful of your instincts and pace.
I believe a love lives here, in the way we listen, honour timing, and let the wise animal of the body lead.
