Reading Challenge 2018

by | 2:00 pm | Book love | 4 comments

I have had so much fun looking at all of the new reading challenges out there for 2018 but I really wanted to create my own reading challenge.

2017 has been there year that I have rekindled my love affair with reading. In the past I became stuck in the literary fiction genre which is made up of books that are deep and slow to read. It made my progress through ‘all the books’ really slow.

This year, I forced myself to try different books from different genres and I really started enjoying reading again.

So for 2018, I created this reading challenge to push myself even further. I hope you join me too. Follow along with my progress on my bookstagram here.

That’s a LOT of reading (unless you combine some of the criteria 😊) I’m only setting myself one reading challenge- read the books on my ‘unread’ shelf. And no buying new books in 2018-Only second hand!
Looks like you’re going to have a lovely book year, enjoy!

Yeah for sure, there are no rules so I would probably allow a book to tick a few boxes 🙂 But, I have ready 28 books so far this year, so for 2018 my goals is actually 50! Eek. I think I can do it though 😀 I made the resolution no new books this year, only second had and that worked out really well. There are a few new releases I want to get this year but otherwise I am going to mostly stick to that resolution again 🙂 Thanks for commenting Rox xXx
